When is the lamb available? Whole and half orders of lamb will be available late this fall between late November - mid/late December 2025 (dependent on available processing dates).
How many pounds of product will I take home? Generally, for a whole lamb figure on taking between 31-40 lbs of product home. Half a lamb is generally 15-20 lbs of product. Why the difference? Each lamb yields a little differently and the cuts you select influence the total lbs you take home (i.e. a bone-in leg roast if heavier than a boneless leg roast).
How much freezer space will a whole or half take? A whole lamb takes approximately 3 cubic feet of freezer space depending on cuts selected. Most refrigerator/freezer combos have freezers in the 5-7.4 cubic feet range. A whole lamb will generally fit in a standard cooler.
How much is a half or whole lamb?
Half: $325 (total includes processing fees)
Whole: $650 (total includes processing fees)
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required for bulk orders.
Buying a whole or half lamb is an approximate 20% savings from retail prices!

SHIPPING POLICIES
We want you to get the BEST product from us, so we need to ensure it shows up frozen. We try to make it as economical as possible (we charge the actual cost of shipping and packaging materials; we do not charge handling or additional fees), but let's face it, shipping perishable product isn't cheap. We would love for you to connect with a trusted producer in your area, but if you can't and desire to know the rancher that raised your food, with an opportunity to reconnect and support a local food system, we can accommodate. We're not big box companies and we aren't trying to be!
If you're within 2 days UPS ground shipping we'll ship your meat, along with dry ice, that way as it's less expensive. For orders farther away we'll ship UPS 2nd Day Air. A little pricier, but you know you'll get the product quickly. As of right now we're only shipping during the winter months to the continental USA. We ship on Mondays or Tuesdays for delivery to you before the weekend.
ORDERING POLICIES
Full payment is due before product can be shipped. Local pick-up payment is due at pick up or before. We accept cash or credit card via your Square invoice.
How we handle animals treated with antibiotics:
First and foremost we are caretakers of the land and animals. When animals require antibiotics to treat illness, we want them to get better and we'll treat them with antibiotic if that is what they need. Animals treated with antibiotic are removed from our grass fed program, and if sold, will be done through other means and will not be part of our meat offerings.
What certifications do you currently hold?
Currently we are certified by the Grown in Montana program, which promotes goods produced in Montana. When you buy from us it's a guarantee that you know exactly where that meat came from and how it was produced. We're also certified by the Homegrown by Heroes program, which recognizes veterans who served our nation in the armed forces, now serving our nation through the food they produce.
